It disconnected senators from their state governments and made them dependent on national donors, media-driven narratives, and Super PACs instead.
It took a system where states had real leverage in Washington — and replaced it with a popularity contest dominated by money and mass media.
Senators today don’t answer to Arizona’s legislature or its people — they answer to K Street lobbyists, D.C. donors, and whatever their handlers tell them will boost polling numbers in swing states.
That’s not representation. That’s manipulation.
"Maybe. And I’m okay with that!"
Because I didn’t step into this race to build a career — I stepped in to fight for the country I took an oath to defend. If restoring the Republic means ending direct Senate elections and returning power to the states, then so be it. I’ll still sleep at night.
But I’m also a realist.
Repealing a constitutional amendment takes enormous political will — something Washington doesn’t have right now. So until that fight can be won...
If we can’t yet restore the Senate to its original design, then we must at least limit how long someone can hold that power.Term limits are common sense:
No citizen in a constitutional republic should become royalty. That’s not public service — that’s political entrenchment. It’s time we break that cycle.
I’m not running to protect the system — I’m running to dismantle the parts that are broken.Whether it’s repealing the 17th Amendment or enforcing term limits, my goal is the same: Restore power to the people. Restore voice to the states. Restore honor to public service. If that makes me unpopular in D.C., good.
Because I’m not going to Washington to be popular. I’m going there to be dangerous — for the establishment.
